Being an international city, Cardiff has its very own Airport at international level. Like many airports it is located in the outskirts of the city near the village of Rhoose. At time of writing the Airport is owned by TBI PLC and is the only airport to provide international flights in and out of Wales.
It is estimated that over one million passengers use the Airport on an annual basis and the Airport is a hub not just for Cardiff, but for the rest of the regional parts (including South and East) of the whole of Wales as well. It is a base for many large travel agents including Thomas Cooke and Flybe.
Some of the main destinations the Airport flies to are Malta, Amsterdam, Zurich, Dublin, Newcastle and Aberdeen. It has regular flights to many destinations in Spain and Greece which include Rhodes and Mallorca.
As part of our selection of services, Cardiff Minibus and Coach Hire can offer a pick up and drop off service to and from the Airport. We can organise a meeting point where our friendly drivers can safely locate you and your group and can then take you to any UK city or town.
